The begining of the E92 335i

BMW's fifth generation of the long famous 3 series was a instant global hit. The 335i was introduced in 2005 and lasted all the way till 2013. The 335i was the first instance of BMW producing a turbocharged gasoline engine named the N54 engine. Because of the 335 being the first turbocharged gasoline engine BMW over engineered the internal components of the N54 and had put forged internals instead of the normal steel internals used in most engines. This is a very important fact that we will cover in the aftermarket support page. The e92 335 came with 300hp and 300ft/bs of torque from the factory which was a good amount of power in that year. The 335 came factory with a 6 speed autoumatic or a 6 speed manual transmission. They also only came configuerd in RWD.

LCI Face lift

In 2009 BMW released a LCI model which stands for an updated version of the previous model. The LCI came with a updated engine known as the N55 which had one turbo instead of the two that the N54 had. These models also came with updated idrive systems such as better navigation, more speakers, and a updated cosmetics package. These models also introduced a new drivetrain known as xdrive which stood for AWD.In this website you will find Information on the E92 335i as well as information on the reliabilty of the 335 and also aftermarket support as well as what it is like to buy and own one in the modern day and age.
